T-Mobile G1 unboxing gallery

We’re in the midst of getting our T-Mobile G1 reviewed, but in the meantime, we wanted to show off the looks and unboxing experience of the phone. Obviously, the G1 is the first publicly available phone that is based on the Google Android platform, and if you are on T-Mobile, we think it’s the phone to have. This is obviously T-Mobile’s answer to the iPhone, and it’s good to see that other companies are trying to innovate and catch up, with the aim of putting out great phones. With Android, the G1 software is even more open than that of the iPhone OS. We’ll get into all that in our review of the phone, but for now enjoy the shots in our T-Mobile G1 unboxing gallery.
You can pick up a G1 at the T-Mobile site, we even recommended the G1 in our Holiday Gift Guide.

The next logical step was to snap images of the unboxing process, which they’ve done swimmingly. If you want to see what all is included in the package, now’s your chance. Hey, it comes with a carrying pouch, isn’t that enough of a reason to click over?

After a long and arduous wait and a somewhat aggravating purchase experience, we had to insist that the folks at the Apple store allow us to film this episode of Unboxing Live. Obviously, we are unboxing the 16GB iPhone 3G, in both black and white flavors. Included with the iPhone are iPhone earbuds, a Dock cable, and a new tiny USB power brick. It also comes with a SIM removal tool, a cleaning cloth, and the ever-present Apple stickers. Conspicuously missing from the package is the iPhone 3G stand-up dock, which is sold separately for $20.

While getting ready to depart for CES today, we received a CES Navigation Kit via FedEx. Turns out our friends at HP wanted to make sure we made it through the rigorous tech conference in perfect health (as you’ll see in the video), and without getting lost. You see, they packed in their newly launched iPaq 310 Travel Companion. We actually did a pre-launch video on the whole line of HP iPaq models, so go watch that for a refresher. The 310 Travel Companion is included.
This is HP’s first dedicated GPS device, so feast your eyes on the unboxing experience, and feel free to hit us back with any questions about it. The device retails for $449 USD. Full details on the iPaq 310, along with specs and price, after the jump.

If you ever find yourself unlucky enough to have your iPhone go crazy and you to the point where it needs to be sent in to AppleCare, do know that there is at least a faint glimmer of hope. When you send your phone in, Apple will send you an iPhone loaner kit in return. This means that you aren’t left without a phone while your iPhone is resuscitated back to life by the Geniuses at Apple. Check out the full gallery at Geekmatica.

The Amazon Kindle has been the talk of the gadget town for the past week or so. If by chance you missed it, the Kindle is Amazon’s foray into the ebook reader space. The device sports free EV-DO, which Amazon calls it’s “WhisperNet” service, which allows you to purchase and download an e-book from just about anywhere - no computer required. We were able to get our hands on one recently, and as is our custom, we snapped up a bunch of Kindle unboxing photos. We liked the art on the box, and what was inside wasn’t overburdening at all - just the Kindle itself, along with a charge cable and USB cable. Oh, and instructions, but those don’t count since no one looks at them anyway - plus, when you start up the Kindle, it boots right into the instructional “Welcome to the Kindle” e-book. Fancy. Anyhoo, click on over to our Amazon Kindle unboxing gallery for the goods.

Unboxing Gallery: Brother P-Touch PT-18R Label Maker
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Handhelds, Household
We just snapped 19 images of our Unboxing Ceremony for the Brother P-Touch PT-18R Rechargeable Labler. Odd as it sounds, this is one of those devices that seems to not have too much to it, but when when you get it in your hands and start exploring, you find that it is actually quite powerful. We have a full PT-18R review over at Gear Live, where you can get all the details, but for now, check out the gallery.

Unboxing reader thoughtfix recently picked up one of the new TabletKiosk eo UMPC units, and has shared his Unboxing images for all to see. The eo UMPC v7110 comes packed with a bunch of accessories, and the mobile unit itself looks quite slick. While I will personally be waiting for the Vista UMPC units before taking the plunge, the images do make me question my seemingly sound judgement.
